Het album ‘One Hell Of A Memory’ bevat verschillende nummers, met een positieve en urgente boodschap, in samenwerking met goede vriend Jason Mraz. De teksten worden ondersteund door pakkende melodieën, prachtige harmonieën en een scala aan bijzondere arrangementen uitgevoerd op Banjo, Fiddle, Mandolin en Ierse Uilleann pipes door onder andere Dennis Caplinger (Eric Clapton, JJ Cale en The Simpsons) en Eric Rigler (Braveheart, The Titanic, Outlander). Gregory zijn woordspelingen en composities brengen toekomst en verleden samen, met een positieve blik op de toekomst.
De nummers op ‘One Hell Of A Memory’ zijn geschreven tijdens een extreem moeilijke periode in Gregory zijn leven: “I found myself at odds with a powerful person in the music industry, fighting for the right to own and control my music. Although I understood it was incredibly risky taking this person to court, I felt it was the only way I was going to be able to hold onto my music, my integrity and my very soul. Also, I thought, if I could stop him now, then maybe I could help other artists that might be taken advantage of by him or those like him and stop this cycle of theft and greed.”
Page had veel goede vrienden die hem bijstonden en hem te hulp schoten, waaronder een uitzonderlijke advocaat die hem juridisch bijstond tijdens de rechtszaak. Gregory: “It was one of the darkest moments of my life. But, against all odds, with the support and love of so many by my side, I ended up prevailing. At the end of it all, I felt a tremendous sense of relief, as well as gratitude for a win that was not just my own, but for all artists who are fighting to protect their musical legacies.” Door deze donkere periode realiseerde Gregory zich dat mensen kunnen ontdekken wie ze echt zijn, wat ze kunnen verdragen, hoeveel kracht ze hebben en welke mensen steun bieden.
