Decades long commitment, respect and focus towards the art of blues music has seen Giles Robson build a dreamlike career. Hohner Harmonicas calls Giles Robson “One of the finest blues harmonica virtuosos in the world, an acclaimed master showman and singer”.

He’s the third only British blues artist after Eric Clapton and Peter Green to win a Memphis Blues Music Award and the only European or UK blues artist to appear on Chicago’s legendary Alligator Records, who describe him as a “Blues giant, absolute master of the form”.

He tours over fifteen countries a year and works with some of blues music’s most legendary figures. Ex Muddy Waters and Magic Slim guitarist and celebrated blues star John Primer says “When me and Giles play the blues we put hot sauce on it so you can feel it”. Emmy Award winning blues harmonica master Billy Branch calls Robson “a great Harmonica player in his own right”.

Recorded whilst on tour in France, his wonderful new EP “Blues From The Road: VOL 1 – FRANCE” captures real blues magic as he teams up with guitar maestro Franck Goldwasser and legendary piano virtuoso Philippe LeJeune plus the added bonus of the country’s GO-TO rhythm section of Pascal Delmas on drums and Mig Toquereau on bass.

Franck Goldwasser, a Paris born guitar prodigy created an acclaimed decades long career collaborating in the USA with some of the most notable names in blues from James Cotton, Jimmy McCracklin to Curtis Salgado and Charlie Musselwhite and was part of the award winning Mannish Boys plus and releases some highly admired albums of his own.
